1. Can you recommend which exam I should consider taking?

This depends on your language level and the reason for taking the exam.

Is it for work? Then ideally you should consider the Cambridge Business English Certificates. Is it for academic purposes? Then another Cambridge series would be best. Let us test your level and we can discuss the situation further.

2. How can your intensive presentation course improve my department’s presentation skills?

The presentation course can give your staff more confidence. Help you structure your presentation and slides in an effective way.

By listening to your presentations and giving constructive comments presentations become less of a problem and more of an opportunity.

3. We have to negotiate with new clients in the UK does your negotiation course give tips and tricks to deal with native speakers?

Yes of course it is a detailed examination of the negotiation process, including role-plays. You are encouraged to question the trainer and you will get feedback on your skill level.

4. Why is the use of German in the classes discouraged?

This is because total immersion in the language is a more natural way to learn. Think of how you learnt your mother tongue as a child. Of course a dictionary is available for use at all times.

5. What is special about a native speaker as a teacher?

A native speaker can give you confidence that what they say is correct. In a recent study a group of German teachers of English were tested. They were given a perfectly correct article to check. The lowest number of mistakes found was 8 the highest 24.
